The Rector Abdu Gusau
Polytechnic Talata Mafara Dr. Sha’ayau Shehu Mafara Turakin Mafara rewarded the
student who found a large sum of money but returned it to the owner, with a sum
of 10,000 Naira for his honesty and loyalty to God.
Recall, yesterday when
Mr. Hamza Ishaq from ND II Accountancy discovered N85, 000 in their lecture
hall and returned it to its own real owner without taking any unfair advantage.
According to Mr. Bello
Jibril Mai Wurno, Kogunan Bungudu, the school's students affairs officer who
also functioned as the NYSC schedule officer, "I led the student to meet
with the leadership of the institution, and the Rector was absolutely thrilled
about the boy's action, he commended him for this benevolence, loyalty to
God, and having strong faith in his religion."
Mr. Jibril further
said that the Rector urged him to be a great representative of the institution
with distinctive trust works that aren't just patient oriented but also
religiously inclined to all Muslim community.
Mr. Hamza expressed
gratitude for Dr. Sha'ayau Shehu Mafara's outstanding leadership prototype as
well as his moral fortitude to support "Truth, justice, and
transparency" throughout all of his involvements, and he prayed to
Almighty Allah to meet all of the Rector's needs, especially in these trying
times.
